About Me
It was over ten years ago that I discovered I had a huge passion for photography and began capturing the sites, scenes, colors, and details I saw around me. Inheriting my mom’s love of photography and my dad’s entrepreneurial spirit, I have mixed both of those strong passions to pursue photography work.
I have an undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and am working on my MBA in Management at Loyola University Maryland. And while I still work full-time as a Marketing & Research Director at a consulting firm, I have been extremely fortunate to be able to apply my business and marketing skills to my freelance photography work.
You can find me taking professional photographs to be used for advertising and PR… or you may find me climbing a pile of rocks to get a unique view of a landscape. This is all what I feel photography is about- creatively capturing a view that others may not see and pausing the moment for all to enjoy.
Everyone notices different views of their world, and I hope that my personal angle captures something new for you. A more detailed perspective than you may have noticed or a piece of God’s beauty that you may have passed by.
What is “Macon”?
My full name is Christine Macon Tachovsky, and I decided that Macon was a little easier to

pronounce and remember how to spell. Macon is the middle name of my mother and my grandfather, and it has been a first, middle, and last name throughout the generations of my family.
